Prayer Is Hard Work
Good praying is hard work, and prayer is the first and most important work of all ministry. All other activities of ministry are utterly futile if not bathed in prayer.
Following the Master No Matter the Cost
True Christianity is not about adding Jesus to my life. Instead, it is about devoting myself completely to Him — submitting wholly to His will and seeking to please Him above all else. It demands dying to self and following the Master, no matter the cost. In other words, to be a Christian is to be Christ’s slave.

Was God Sovereign in the Cross?
If God was sovereignly in control when the unlawful hands of murderous men put His beloved Son on a cross, why would anyone balk at the notion that God is still sovereignly in control even when lesser evils occur? The Cross therefore establishes God’s absolute sovereignty beyond question.
Life Is Worship
True worship involves every aspect of life.
The Healthy Church
A healthy church is one that is motivated by a common affection for God and His Word and really knows what it is to love one another.
