Practice love diligently. It is one of those graces, above all, which grows by constant exercise.
Christians must long to draw closer to God. If we are quenching our thirst at forbidden fountains, we have no reason to expect God to be satisfying. If we are not nourished by the bread from heaven, we will satiate ourselves with crumbs from the world. Once we have become addicted to the world’s nourishment, our appetite for God is spoiled.
If you cannot be a Christian where you are, you cannot be a Christian anywhere. It is not place but grace.
If we are not changed by grace, then we are not saved by grace.
Faith is a living, daring confidence in God’s grace, so sure and certain that a man could stake his life on it a thousand times.
Salvation is everything for nothing! Christ free! Pardon free! Heaven free!
Pastor, my prayer for you today is that you will have grace for the successes or failures of yesterday so that you may continue this week by grace, doing the impossible ministry God called you to do.
If we give God service it must be because He gives us grace. We work for Him because He works in us.
