Disciples Make Disciples
To be a disciple is to be a disciple-maker.
Colin Marshall & Tony Payne, The Trellis and the Vine (Kingsford NSW: Matthias Media, 2009), 154.
Which One Are You?
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, “Thy will be done,” and those to whom God says, “All right, then, have it your way.”
Christianity Means a Change, Not Just an Improvement
If we are not changed by grace, then we are not saved by grace.
Pastor, Get Ready for Next Sunday’s Message
What I have found of God in Jesus Christ is so wonderful, I am eager for others to know it too — and to know him.

Not in Me
What Can I Give Him, Poor As I Am?
Nothing can be so precious to us that we should not give it up to him who gave himself there for us on the tree.

God Loves You, but I’m His favorite!
There are no distinctions of affection in the divine family. We are all loved just as fully as Jesus is loved. It is like a fairy story — the reigning monarch adopts waifs and strays and makes princes of them. But, praise God, it is not a fairy story: it is hard and solid fact, founded on the bedrock of free and sovereign grace. . . . No wonder John cries, “Behold, what manner of love!”
J. I. Packer, Knowing God (Downers Grove, IL: InterVarsity Press, 1993), 216.
Do the Next Thing
The way to do a great deal is to keep on doing a little. The way to do nothing at all is to be continually resolving that we will do everything.

Love the God You Preach about
I have heard it said that some men love theology more than they love God. Do not let it be possible to say that of you. Love theology, of course, but love theology for no other reason than that it is theology — the knowledge of God, and because it is your meat and drink to know God, to know Him truly, and as far as it is given to mortals, to know Him whole.
