We have no clue of how evil sin really is before a holy God. Maybe the closest we come is by looking at the Cross.

Incapable of Hearing the Voice of God
Where the sanction of the Christian world, or the force of habit and custom, or the apparent insignificance of what we do, makes us think little of the sin, it has a terrible power to deceive the professing Christian. And through this deceitfulness of sin, be it worldliness, or unlovingness, or pride, or want of integrity, hearts are hardened, and become incapable of hearing the voice of God.
Satan Doesn’t Need To Tempt You
Let a man set up any sin in delightful contemplation and meditation, that same inward acting of his sin, either actually casts him upon the outward adventures, or invites them…. Satan shall not need to tempt him much who has already tempted himself; and he who will work sin in his heart, a weak occasion will draw it out into his life.

Revival Is…
Revival is just the life of the Lord Jesus poured into human hearts.
Being Made To Live Again
Revival is not a green valley getting greener, but a valley full of dry bones (Ezekiel 37) being made to live again, and those bones to stand up a mighty army. Not a good Christian becoming a better Christian, but a man who is prepared to confess ‘Mine is a valley full of dry bones’ being made to live again.
The Beginning of Revival
To be broken is the beginning of revival. It is painful, it is humiliating, but it is the only way.
Revival: God’s Work of Church Restoration
Revival means the work of God restoring to a moribund church, in a manner out of the ordinary, those standards of Christian life and experience which the New Testament sets forth as being entirely ordinary; and a right-minded concern for revival will express itself, not in a hankering after tongues (ultimately it is of no importance whether we speak in tongues or not), but rather in a longing that the Spirit may shed God’s love abroad in our hearts with greater power. For it is with this (to which deep exercise of soul about sin is often preliminary) that personal revival begins, and by this that revival in the church, once begun, is sustained.
God of Heaven
I had the privilege to attend this concert and hear this as it was being recorded. The video just doesn’t do it justice, but its still pretty good.
